Broncos fans have been in limbo since January when safety Rahim Moore lost his target and the Baltimore Ravens' Joe Flacco continued his waltz to the Super Bowl. Months later, we're still hurting from that game. But, tonight, there's a chance at redemption when the Broncos and Ravens return to Sports Authority Field at Mile High for the NFL season opener. While there was plenty of pressure on Peyton Manning's shoulders (er, neck) last year, this year there are even higher expectations as the team struggles to right its once stellar reputation (no more DUIs or suspensions, please) and give Broncos fans—even the littlest ones—something to cheer for. —Natasha Gardner
9/6/13 Editor's Note: Seven touchdowns? Seven! Our expectations just got higher.
