Sips: Montanya Cuban Daiquiri

A drink recipe made with the spirits from our Colorado Liquor Cabinet.

Colorado flavors make up the four ingredients used in Montanya Rum, which is distilled in Crested Butte. Mix the Platino light rum (featured in the February issue’s Colorado Liquor Cabinet) and Oro dark rum together to make this Cuban Daiquiri.

You'll Need:

2 ounces Montanya Platino rum
1 ounce Montanya Oro rum
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Juice of whole lime, plus a lime wheel slice for garnish

Directions:

Rim rocks glass with salt or sugar. Mix lime juice, rums, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Pour into glass with ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
