Gene S. Bloom

A Denver native, Gene S. Bloom, D.D.S, practiced family dentistry in Denver for 25 years before joining the Cody Dental Group in 1998. He has been an Instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. Dr. Bloom has served as chairman and as a member of various committees of the Colorado Dental Association and on several legislative committees pertaining to dental care for the elderly.

Dr. Bloom was one of five dentists on the Colorado State Board of Dental Examiners for eight years, serving as Board Chairman for three years. He continues to examine graduating dental students for licensure in Colorado and ten other states in the Midwest. He has received post-graduate education in occlusion and comprehensive dentistry at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. Dr. Bloom has also completed training in occlusion and TMJ disorders from the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Dr. Bloom has been honored by being awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fouchard Academy of Dentists. He is also a member of the Centennial Dental Study Club at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.

Dr. Bloom enjoys his dogs, gardening, and hiking in his spare time.
