Gerald B. Savory, DDS, has been providing dental services to members of the Boulder, Colorado community for more than 35 years. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Creighton University in Omaha in 1976. After two years in the U.S. Army, he relocated to beautiful Boulder.
Dr. Savory continues to be a serious student of his profession, as evidenced by his commitment to continuing education. He has been a visiting faculty member at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Florida and he also lectures at dental study clubs around the country.
Dr. Savory is an active member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Membership in this Academy is by invitation only and is limited to a maximum of 165 dentists worldwide. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, which are honorary organizations.
Service to his profession and community are important values to Dr. Savory. He volunteers with Give Kids A Smile Day annually, at the Boulder Homeless Shelter Dental Unit and the state-wide dental Colorado Mission of Mercy. He has served as president of the Boulder/Broomfield Counties Dental Society and has been Speaker of the House of Delegates for the Colorado Dental Association for five years.
As well as family dentistry, Dr. Savory has extensive experience with “bite” and “occlusal” problems which affect the jaw joint, crowns, root canal therapy, implant crowns and appliances for sleep apnea. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Savory is passionate about his profession. He and his long-term staff, enjoy assisting clients with their oral health and having fun while doing so. His mission is to deliver skilled, collaborative and appropriate care – along with some laughter!
