What’s most important to you when it comes to treating patients? Patient satisfaction. My focus is on making sure patients feel comfortable and confident with my care and are happy with the outcome of their treatment.
How would you describe your chair-side style? Open and relaxed. I carefully listen to the patient’s problems and any of their concerns, then I discuss treatment options, answer any of their questions, and try to alleviate any fears.
How do you educate patients? By having an open discussion about treatment options and their recommended treatment, reviewing what they can expect before, during, and after surgery using terms that patients can understand. I refer to radiographs, models, diagrams or other materials, depending on the patient’s learning style.
