Save the date. Yesterday, it was announced that Colorado’s newest Trader Joe’s location will lift its veil later this fall, on Friday, September 5. The 11,600-square-foot store, located at the corner of Seventh and Logan, will mark the fourth location that this California-based chain has opened in the Centennial State, and the second in Denver.

“We’ve had an incredibly warm response from the Denver community, and we’re looking forward to continuing our growth there,” says Alison Mochizuki, Trader Joe's public relations director.

This news comes on the cusp of Trader Joe’s announcing it will expand its footprint to Colorado Springs by the end of 2015—and Fort Collins at some point in the near future. Per Colorado state law, the new locations will unfortunately not be able to sell everyone’s favorite Two-Buck Chuck.

Colorado residents were notoriously baffled for years as they watched the chain open stores nearly everywhere except the fittest state in the country. To no one's suprise, its long-awaited opening in February prompted lines so large they shut down traffic.
