20 Work & Class (new to the list)
Not everyone enjoys Work & Class. Some think it’s too loud and unscripted—which it is—but those are actually two of the things we like about it. What else do we love? The Ballpark restaurant owned by Delores Tronco and partner Tony Maciag pushes the boundaries of dining in Denver. Work & Class is intentionally unfussy. Order executive chef and partner Dana Rodriguez’s terrific roasted meats by the pound. Dishes are served on tin plates. Fried catfish is the sole fish entrée. The eatery is also situated inside shipping containers (which contributes to the din) and intends to strike a balance of fun, good food, and ease.
