A standard triathlon is probably enough of an endurance test for most folks—but not Coloradans. We’re willing to take on a 1.2-mile swim, a 13.1-mile run, and a 56-mile bike ride at 9,111 feet. Named for the longitudinal coordinate of the race, the highest triathlon in the world starts in Lake Dillon and then winds through the Tenmile and Gore mountain ranges.
