Bring plenty of water to this spicy fall festival showcasing Pueblo’s homegrown chilies and pinto beans. Think you can stand the heat? Compete for up to $100 in prizes in the jalapeno-eating contest. Or compete for bragging rights in the Chili and Salsa Showdown open to professional and amateur cooks. Other highlights include music from more than 40 bands and a Hot 2 Trot 5K run and two-mile walk. Fri-Sat, times vary.
