It's Fruitcake Weather: The Queen of Cakes

Author and comedian Truman Capote was known for his way with words as much as his way with celebrities. The Breakfast at Tiffany’s author is credited for having thrown the party of the 20th century, the Black and White Ball, which hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra. Recapture that glamour with the Denver Public Library as they re-create the menu from that historic evening. To conclude the series, tonight Chef Kark will explore fruitcake, a Capote-family favorite. Sat 1:30-3 p.m.
