Conference on World Affairs
Founded in 1948, this conference "about everything," encompasses the arts, media, science, diplomacy, human rights, and more. One hundred participants will join in discussions and debates centered around this year's theme, What Matters, an exploration about what issues are most relevant in our information-bombarded culture. Activist and author Harvey Wasserman will deliver a talk called “Dead and Deadly Nukes: From Fukushima to Solartopia,” and musicians Crosby and Nash will give the closing plenary.
