15 Colorado Artists—Breaking With Tradition

In 1948, 15 modern artists broke away from the Denver Artists Guild, saying that they didn't want to be confined by the organization's traditionalist outlook. In this exhibit, you can view original artwork from the group's first exhibit, never-before-seen vintage photos of the artists, and reproductions of newspapers that include debates over the modernist movement. Tue-Sun 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
