Street Drum Corps Presents Bang!
If you've been lucky enough to catch a percussion-based performance before—whether it be STOMP or Japanese Taiko drumming—then you know the high-energy shows are not to be missed. If you haven't, take advantage of this opportunity: Street Drum Corps, a trio of mohawked guys from L.A., is headed to Boulder as part of the Colorado Music Festival's 35th concert season. Combining their impressive percussions skills with found objects (think trash cans and buckets), this group puts on a high-impact, unusual show that might just convince you to dust off those drumsticks from your teenage years. Tue 7:30-10 p.m.Date: Jul 19, 2011 6:30 pm - Jul 19, 2011 9:00 pm
Venue: Chautauqua Auditorium
