Xu Beihong and Threads of Heaven

Explore the ceremonial and mysterious art in China, between 1644 and 1912, with the exhibitions Xu Beihong: Pioneer of Modern Chinese Painting, and Threads of Heaven: Silken Legacy of China's Last Dynasty. This is the first time the U.S. has seen the full range of work by Xu Beihong (1895-1953). Watch for talks about how his work was safeguarded surrounding his death. Tue-Sun, times vary.
