This is the warm-hearted story of Idrissa, a young African refugee who lands in the French harbor city of Le Havre and his friendship with Marcel Marx, a bohemian who shines shoes for a living and stands up to officials searching to deport the young Idrissa. This subtitled film won the International Film Critics Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the Best International Film Award at the Munich Film Festival. Fri. Show times vary.
