In just a decade, Bobbi Walker took her Golden Triangle space from the ground up to become a premier contemporary gallery in our thriving Mile High art scene. Showcasing abstract works, realism, mixed media, experimental photography, video installations, and sculpture, artists venture to Walker Fine Art from across the country and around the world. A public anniversary reception will be held to celebrate 10 years of an established artistic presence. Thu 6-9 p.m.

Western art can easily fall prey to the cliché and contrived. Not Duke Beardsley's paintings. The Denver-born artist combines traditional iconography with slight abstraction for pieces that show the West in an entirely new setting. Beardsley's latest works explore the way light can evoke a mood and a story. This exhibit stretches the limits between the city of Denver and the home on the range, a boundary many Coloradans tread. Days, times vary.

Embrace snout-to-tail dining in one sitting with a beer-paired five-course dinner. Pairings include Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout paired with coffee spaetzle with pork loin and natural jus, followed by a Kriek Lambic (a Belgian beer produced by spontaneous fermentaion, exposed to wild yeasts) paired with a black forest cake.
