Beginning Ink: Sceenprinting

Screenprinting can be a complicated process, but if you have the skills, then your creativity becomes your only limit. This class will introduce you printmaking essentials like the types of screens used, making a multi-color print, preparing the art and film, and more. After your done you'll leave with 10 original pieces of art, and if you become addicted, you can always call in and schedule more time during their open studio hours. Sat 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sustainable Food Film Series: Cafeteria Man

Chef Tony Geraci is a man on a mission: ridding school cafeterias of mystery meat. The documentary Cafeteria Man follows Geraci's visionary quest to change the diet of schoolchildren one lunch at a time. Stay after the film for a community panel and a Q&A session. Chipotle will provide complimentary snacks. Thu 6 p.m.
