Thanksgiving Pre-Feast: A Hurricane Sandy Relief Benefit

Two feasts are better than one. Join fellow philanthropists on Thanksgiving eve for a four-course dinner, sans turkey. The menu will highlight seasonal fare such as bleu cheese-stuffed bacon-wrapped dates, roasted Brussels sprouts, and mushroom risotto. Proceeds benefit the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Wed 5-9 p.m.

Good thing 3-D doesn't really bring the on-screen elements to life; otherwise, we'd recommend hauling a parka with you to this wintry flick. Jack Frost is a carefree boy who can't help but bring chilly temperatures with him wherever he goes. But when the Nightmare King blankets the earth in darkness, the guardians (which include Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny) must protect Jack and innocent children around the world.
