George Karl is one coach who consistently gives Coloradans a reason to smile. Help the Denver Nuggets head coach give back to the community on Colorado Gives Day—and get a Coohills breakfast out of the deal, too. The bright-and-early event is hosted by the Progressive Health Center, which helps educate and support uninsured and underinsured patients. Can't make the breakfast?

Winter Soups and One-Dish Meals

Learn the basics of soup making along with other one-dish meals. Spend your evening with Chef Andrew Lubatty as he teaches you step-by-step how to make New England clam chowder and mushroom lasagne with gruyere sauce, to name a couple. These delicious comfort, and easy, meals will keep you warm during the long winter months. Tues 6:30-9:30 p.m.

You might have seen him at the Thanksgiving Macy’s Day Parade performing “Great Balls of Fire” or heard one of his songs on MTV. This rock 'n' roll artist has been playing his greatest admirers music—Elvis, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis—since the ’80s. His newest album, Beyond the Sun, features covers like “Ring of Fire” and  “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Tue 8 p.m.
