Noon Year's Eve

Usher in the New Year a good 12 hours before bedtime. The Children’s Museum plaza transforms into bustling New York City, complete with a glitzy ball drop, decorative hats and plenty of confetti. Instead of a toast, the kids will celebrate by stomping on an enormous sheet of bubble wrap when the clock strikes noon. Mon, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.


Resolution 5K

Start a new New Years Eve tradition this year. Get an early start on that new year resolution with this family friendly New Year's Eve 5K run and walk. Earn a long sleeve T-shirt and admission to the post race party where you can cozy up with warm comfort food from Pasta Jays and maybe even win some prizes from Runners Roost and Boulder Running Company. Looking to shake up your usual New Year's routine? Bovine Theatre's two performances on New Year's Eve end just before each round of 16th Street Mall's fireworks. Comedians use the audience’s unique suggestions to come up with scenes, games, and songs all night long. Mon 7:30 p.m., 10 p.m.
