Power Fully Placid

Theresa Anderson considers herself part of the punk feminist aesthetic, and the art she produces definitely helps fuel her self-proclaimed definition. Using several mediums like acrylic paint, graphite, and spray paint, Anderson creates a surprising balance out of disorder. Her images feel slightly abstract, but still feature portraits of characterized individuals mixed together with flowery word art. This mix allows the viewer to tear away from convention and experience the art in a new light. Fri 6-10 p.m.; Sat-Sun noon-5 p.m.
