"Please silence your cell phones" has become a familiar refrain at theaters. With their typically cheeky style, the folks at Bovine ask the audience to do just the opposite. Their latest theatrical experiment is part improv, part social media; audience members are asked to actively participate in the performance by posting updates to Facebook and Twitter and uploading photos while a Twitterfountain (a mashup of tweets and Flickr images) of related hashtags runs throughout the performance.
