A good bowl of chili can warm even the coolest of winter days—and this cause will warm your heart, too. This family-friendly event benefits the MaxFund No-Kill Animal Shelter, and there will be adoptable pets outside the Tavern to meet before you have your fill of tasty chilis in four categories: red, green, and vegetarian entries by other regular folks, and a professional chef category. Sun 1-4 p.m.
