A live auction, food from 15 Denver chefs and a stocked bar at the Brown Palace sounds decadent enough on its own, but add prizes like lift tickets, spa packages and full-blown getaways, and it's even more tempting. Now in its third year, the night is the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association's way of rewarding Colorado travelers for celebrating the state. Even if you can't afford the bigger items in the live and silent auctions, the gourmet food stations will still taste like luxury. Proceeds go to the Food Bank of the Rockies and the Readiness Fund.
