As the son of blues legend John Lee Hooker, John Lee Hooker, Jr. has blues in his blood. Lately, Hooker, Jr. has mixed his traditional blues background with contemporary rock by sharing the stage with Lenny Kravitz, Taj Mahal, and ZZ Top. The soulster stops through Colorado on the heels of a world tour including Austria, Switzerland, and Turkey, where he recorded his latest album, Live in Istanbul. His newest album is set to drop later this spring, so catch an early listen on Oskar Blues’ weekly podcast, "Home Made Liquids & Solids." Sat 8 p.m.
