Tattered Cover Film Series: Modern Times

Charlie Chaplin's 1936 film features a tramp, trying to skate by in the Great Depression. In an effort to produce some cash, he takes up work as a singing waiter. The catch: He's never publicly uttered a tune in his life. We hear the film's ending is magnificent, but think you should watch all 89 minutes of it too. Charlie Chaplin mustache not required, but reservations are. Sun 2–3:30 p.m.

Date: Mar 4, 2012 3:00 pm - Mar 4, 2012 4:30 pm
Cost: Free.
