This race is certain to test the endurance of even seasoned athletes with a 3,200 foot climb over only 2.5 miles. If you thought downhill skiing was a great workout, try going the other way.  Participants can choose from skis to running shoes, and anything in-between, as your preferred method of ascending to the finish line near the Sundeck Restaurant, perched at a lofty 11,212 feet. Sorry, no snowmobiles. Sat 7 a.m.
