Live-Life-Smiling Mile High Mile
You’ve always imagined yourself running onto the field at Mile High stadium: the turf under your feet, the sun shining, the fans screaming. Here’s a way to make that dream come true—granted, the athletes are a little bit smaller than you imagined. A one-mile race designed for kids, families, and experienced runners alike, this run places its finish line on the stadium’s 50-yard line. Proceeds benefit South Platte River Environmental Education, a free program that puts on camps and trips to the South Platte to help kids learn about and love the environment. Sun 7-9:30 a.m.
