Laleh Mehran: Men of God, Men of Nature

Tags: Laleh Mehran, DAM

Designed specifically for the Denver Art Museum's Fuse Box, artist Laleh Mehran created this installation exhibit to be both meditative and seductive. Daughter of Iranian scientists, Mehran mediates and bridges the opposing worlds—and intentions—of science, politics, theology, and art, while creating a unique commentary about all these hot topics. Her intricate, textured three-dimensional pieces often have religious themes, including the Star of David. Tue-Thu 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fri 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m.;  Sun 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
