Goose Fest

Tags: Goose Fest, Golden, Colorado Railroad Museum

No birds involved. A goose is in fact a unique type of rail car that used to trundle travelers all over southern Colorado and it’s somewhere in between a truck, a school bus, and a train. For the first time ever, all seven of the Galloping Geese will be flocking to the Colorado Railroad Museum where visitors will have a chance to ride the rails in a fully functioning piece of history. The kids will have the opportunity to play with all the bells and whistles (literally), as well as climb around the 11 different locomotives and cars on the 15 acre property. Sat-Sun 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Date: Jun 16, 2012 9:00 am - Jun 17, 2012 5:00 pm
Cost: $15.
Venue: Colorado Railroad Museum
