Sci-Fi Film Series

This five sci-fi film lineup will stretch the limits of your imagination—and teach you a thing or two. Stamped with the approval of PhD scientists, each exciting film will be followed by a short discussion led by scientists and curators, meant to weed out the film's fact from fiction. Pay attention to movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey and 12 Monkeys and you might leave a movie as an expert on cosmic exploration, monsters, zoology, or the core of the Earth. Wednesdays 7 p.m.

Date: Jul 11, 2012 7:00 pm - Aug 8, 2012 7:00 pm
Cost: $15.
Venue: Denver Museum of Nature and Science
More info:

The screenings will alternate locations between the Museum's Phipps Theater and the Denver FilmCenter/Colfax.
