This ain’t no rodeo, but it sure is Colorado. While cowboys and their horses may get all the glory, it was the miners and their burros who blazed the way for our state. Celebrate their legacy with this competition of man and pack animal racing together from Leadville to Fairplay. The weekend will also include llama races, kids pack dog races, parades, contests, and dances. Meander through more than 170 arts and crafts and food vendor booths while listening to local music. Sat 8:30 a.m.; Sun 7 a.m.
