Take a Child to the Opera

Tags: Opera, La boheme, History, Central City

Bring Colorado history alive for your young ones with a day exploring Central City and ending with the performance of La Bohème at the Central City Opera House. As they pan for gold, play theatre games, picnic at Williams Stables, and learn the ushers' song that opens each performance, kids will see why the city was once called the "richest square mile on Earth."  With the addition of fun pre-performance activities for the whole family and a behind the scenes look at the Italian opera, this journey back in time will be an experience your kids won't soon forget. Thu 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
