Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction 5-day Retreat
Take some time off this summer to de-stress, unwind and rebalance. This weeklong retreat takes place at the Shambhala Mountain Center, a six-hundred acre property nestled among native forests, quiet meadows and rolling valleys, so you'll be able to immerse yourself in a peaceful oasis without even leaving the state. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, a scientifically supported program aimed at encouraging relaxation and improving physical and emotional well-being, serves as the guiding fundamental of the retreat. Participants will engage in walking, yoga and body-scan meditation exercises intended to increase mindfulness, improve stress management skills and bring harmony to your life. Tue-Sun 2 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
