Berlin, 1932. Mark Erdmann is a successful physicist and the head of Berlin University's atomic lab. His wife, Leah, is a socialite who relishes in the city's cultural scene—and a secret extramarital romance. Shortly after Hitler is elected, the Jewish couple is forced to make a life-or-death decision: Stay in Berlin, or take a chance on starting over somewhere unknown. A Happy End was originally produced for Holocaust Memorial Day in 2008. Thu-Sat 8 p.m.; Sun 3 p.m.
