Written in early 20th century Germany, this musical time capsule provides an authentic socialist examination of capitalist crime and behavior. Follow the story of Macheath, or Mack the Knife, as he pillages and plunders England’s impoverished, faces punishment then skates free. The play was scored by German jazz composer Kurt Weill, giving the performance that classic musical sound. Fri-Sat 7:30 p.m.; Sun 6 p.m.
