Wise Women of the Southwest: Return of the Corn Mothers

Traditionally, the Corn Mother— synonymous with Mother Earth in Pueblo cultures— represents growth, creativity, and femininity. After a two-year out-of-state tour, the collection of contemporary Corn Mother images returns to Colorado (featuring 39 portraits and stories). The photojournalistic exhibition depicts the true stories of multi-cultural heroines who have instigated change in their communities within the American Southwest. Tue-Sat, times vary.
