Show business isn't easy. Following the dreams and struggles of a mother as she pushes her daughters to become star performers, Gypsy paints a sympathetic picture of life in show business. To kick off its 25th main stage season, the Fine Arts Center Theatre Company will premiere the classic musical comedy. The critically-acclaimed, humorous and drama-packed plot follows burlesque star Gypsy Rose Lee and her typical show business mother, loosely based on the 1957 memoirs of a famous striptease artist.
