Anne of Green Gables
When a woman and her brother resolve to adopt an orphan, they expect a boy to arrive and help around their home. Instead a young girl with her head—full of fire engine red hair— in the clouds, shows up. Based on the American literary classic, the story recounts the energetic, eager-to-please young girl's adventures and efforts to make her way in school, around town, and with her new family, who worries there is no use for her. After a short while, she finds her place as the three family members build relationships and learn to rely on one another. Days, times vary.
Cost: $12-15.
