Is He Dead?

This recent Broadway smash—adapted from a Mark Twain play for modern audiences— cunningly critiques the art world with humor, charm, and commentary of society at large. The farce follows a young and in love painter struggling on an artist's salary. In order to eek out a living and stop his love from leaving him, he stages his own death to drive up the price of his works. The artist believes his scheme will earn him fame and fortune, but his scheme is flawed from the start. Days, times vary.
