Indigenous Film and Arts Festival

All too often Native Americans aren't given a chance to step out of stereotypes in American film. The annual Indigenous Film and Arts Festival breaks away the cowboys-and-indians paradigm, instead focusing on the living traditions of stories and storytelling through films such as Dead Man and Powwow Highway. Screenings will be followed by discussions with Native American actors and directors. Wed-Sat, times vary.

Date: Oct 2, 2012 5:30 pm - Oct 8, 2012 1:00 pm
