Ice: Paintings of Ice and Snow by Marlene Tseng Yu

For Taiwanese artist Marlene Tseng Yu, nature provides an infinite source of inspiration. She combines traditional Chinese and Western art techniques and styles—together with her own experiments—to give people a new outlook on the world's environment. This exhibit highlights her Glacier Melting Series, which she started in 1965 and completed in 2008. As human lifestyles and habits increase global warming, Yu hopes her art can increase environmental awareness. Wed-Fri 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sat-Sun noon-5 p.m.
