These Grand Places

When Tomiko Jones shows her work, she attempts to convert her designated gallery spaces into experimental labs and classrooms so that her audience can experience the art live. Her most recent project is no exception as the artist photographed specific locales in an attempt to re-imagine the space. Jones depicts geographic elements as they blur and transition into one another. The images are collected from various American landscapes and abroad while she visited France. Days, times vary.
