Home Cookin' in the White House

Find out the truth about what happens at the White House—in the kitchen, at least. Take a break from the partisan attacks for an event that combines history with the culinary arts. Historian Adrian Miller (pictured) will talk about the lives of the First Chefs and the presidents they served, all while serving comfort foods based on original recipes. Proceeds benefit FosterSports, an organization that makes sports accessible to fostered, homeless, and displaced youth. Bonus: For an extra $50, score VIP tickets, which include a private demon and meet-and-greet with Miller. Sat 6-9 p.m.

Date: Oct 20, 2012 6:00 pm - Oct 20, 2012 9:00 pm
Cost: $100-$150.
