What better place to have a Halloween party than a former mortuary? Highland's Linger plays host for an evening of complimentary cocktails, interactive games, and eats from fellow bold-name restaurants like Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar, ChoLon Modern Asian Bistro, and the soon-to-open Beast + Bottle. Costumes are mandatory (best dressed gets a killer prize), and proceeds benefit the GrowHaus, a nonprofit indoor farm, marketplace, and educational center. Spring for the VIP pass for access to a creepy-crawly cocktail hour and $25 gift certificate to Linger. Mon 7-11 p.m.
