Fall Concert Showing
The power, emotion, and intellect of art come alive as the 3rd Law Dance Company brings an evening of contemporary dance and visual art. One of the three excerpts of the evening—"Authentic Reproduction"—involves a collaboration with digital media artist, Darwin Grosse. Dancers' movements control live video feeds setting and changing the backdrop viewers experience. The other two performances that make up the evening are loosely based on two different pieces of literature: "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock," by T.S. Eliot, and "The Family Portrait of Dr. Cocktail," an original work. Fri.-Sat. 7:30 p.m., Sun 4 p.m.Date: Nov 16, 2012 8:30 pm - Nov 18, 2012 5:00 pm
