A Charlie Brown Christmas, the beloved TV special from 1965, is as well known for its great music as it is for its big-hearted Peanuts characters' search for the true meaning of Christmas. The soundrack, created by jazz composer Vince Guaraldi, is funky, fun, and sentimental all at once—and it's coming to a Denver stage. Some great local jazz cats (the Marc Sabatella Trio) and elementary school students (Edison Elementary's Voice of the Eagle choir) will get you in the holiday mood by performing the tunes live, with proceeds benefiting Edison Elementary School's music program. Sat 3 p.m.
