Usher in the New Year a good 12 hours before bedtime. The Children’s Museum plaza transforms into bustling New York City, complete with a glitzy ball drop, decorative hats and plenty of confetti. Instead of a toast, the kids will celebrate by stomping on an enormous sheet of bubble wrap when the clock strikes noon. Mon, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
