The perfect Sunday in Denver: enjoying the sunshine outside followed by a yummy brunch—and maybe a mimosa or two. bRUNch Running satisfies those cravings. The brand-new running group meets every Sunday for a 5K or 10K run, then dashes off to Denver restaurant (locations change weekly) for libations and good eats. The inaugural workout-meets-refueling is at Jonesy's Eat Bar. Tip: If you're just in it for the brunch, that's OK, too. Sun 10 a.m.

Imagine a symphony hall packed with children. How does an orchestra keep little ones’ attention? The Colorado Symphony has created a remedy with The Listener, a musical and interactive stage performance that's meant to keep the whole family engaged. While the orchestra performs songs—from Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 to Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Swans—two actors from the Magic Circle Mime Company carry a narrative on stage (and in the audience) through miming, singing, tap dancing, and ballet.

Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Move on the dance floor to this American ska-core band—a mesh of ska, punk rock, and hardcore. First started in the 1980s, the band became a pivotal inspiration to the genre in the succeeding decade. Heavy bass strums and drumbeats mixed with the horn ensemble’s peppy, high-paced notes create the musician’s contagious upbeat energy. Don’t miss Dicky Barrett’s vocals, bass guitarist Joe Gittleman, tenor saxophonist Tim Burton, and the dancer—yes, the official dancer—Ben Carr, and their hit songs such as, “the Impression That I Get,” and “Where’d You Go?"
