For movie lovers who tend to fall asleep mid reel, the Aspen Shortsfest is a dream come true: a showcase presenting compact-yet-complete 40-minute films. The selection of vanguard “shorts” varies from live-action and documentary to comedy and animation. Recognized as one of the world’s top 50 film festivals, the event includes screenings, special guest filmmakers, Q&A sessions, school education programs, and special events.

Master Mechanics Bike Maintenance Class

Feeling stuck when it comes to fixing your bike? This six-part class will teach you how to fix everything on a bike, from the handlebars to the gears. Participants practice bike repair and maintenance on used bicycles that will be donated to charity (after a thorough inspection, of course!). You will also take home the Bike Depot’s essential do-it-all tome: "Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair." Tue 7-9 p.m.
